PingWise

Know the moment your site goes down.

PingWise monitors your websites, servers and cron jobs 24/7 for downtime, slow responses, expiring SSL certificates and domains, missing keywords, and scheduled jobs that fail to run — and alerts you instantly by email, SMS, Slack, Teams, Discord, Telegram, webhook or ClickUp.

Everything you need to stay online

Uptime monitoring

We check your sites as often as every minute and confirm failures before alerting, so you hear about real outages — not blips.

Server monitoring

Watch your servers too — check a host is alive by ICMP ping, or that a port (SSH, MySQL, RDP, SMTP…) is open. Websites and servers share one simple plan limit.

Cron & scheduled job monitoring

Know when a cron job, backup or scheduled task fails to run. Your job pings a unique URL when it finishes — miss the schedule and we alert you.

Response time tracking

See response-time trends and uptime percentages over 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days, with a clean live chart per monitor.

SSL & domain expiry

PingWise watches your TLS certificates and your domain registration, warning you days before either expires — never get caught by a lapsed cert or an expired domain again.

Keyword monitoring

Make sure a word is present (or absent) on the page — catch silent failures, defacements and broken deploys that still return 200 OK.

Multi-channel alerts

Get notified the moment something changes by email, SMS, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, webhook or ClickUp. Recovery and expiry warnings are sent too.

Public status pages

Publish a branded status page so your customers can see the live status and uptime of your services — pick exactly which monitors to show.

No false alarms

A monitor only flips to DOWN after a few confirmed failures and recovers on the first good check — so a single blip never wakes you at 3am.

Incident history

Every outage is logged with its cause, start time and duration, so you have a clear record and can review uptime over 24h, 7d and 30d.

Frequently asked questions

What is PingWise?

PingWise is a website and server monitoring service. It checks your websites and servers around the clock and alerts you the instant one goes down, slows down, loses a keyword, or its SSL certificate is about to expire.

What does PingWise monitor?

Websites — HTTP/HTTPS uptime and status codes, response times and uptime percentage (24h / 7d / 30d), SSL certificate expiry, domain (registration) expiry and on-page keywords. Servers — reachability by ICMP ping or a TCP port (SSH, MySQL, RDP and more). Scheduled jobs — cron jobs, backups and tasks via a heartbeat ping (dead-man’s-switch).

Can PingWise monitor my cron jobs and scheduled tasks?

Yes. Create a cron check and PingWise gives you a unique ping URL. Add it to your cron job (e.g. append “&& curl -fsS <url>”) so it pings each time it runs. If an expected ping doesn’t arrive on schedule (plus a grace period), or the job reports a failure, we alert you — catching silent failures like a backup that quietly stopped running. Optional /start and /fail pings measure run time and flag jobs that run too long. No agent to install.

How does PingWise alert me?

Instantly by email, SMS, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, webhook and ClickUp when a website or server goes down, recovers, or an SSL certificate or domain is about to expire — with an alert email per monitor too.

Can I publish a public status page?

Yes — build a branded public status page (status.yourdomain) showing the live status and uptime of the services you choose, so your customers can check it themselves.

Is PingWise free?

Yes. The free plan covers up to 2 monitors — websites or servers, in any mix — with no credit card. Paid plans scale up to 50 and add SMS alerts, status pages and maintenance windows.

Can I import my domains from Cloudflare?

Yes — connect a read-only Cloudflare API token and import all your domains as monitors in a couple of clicks.
