This Privacy Policy explains how FTV London Ltd (“PingWise”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use the PingWise website and services. We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. The data we collect

• Account data — your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
• Billing data — business name, address, country and phone number, and invoice history. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
• Monitoring configuration — the URLs, hosts, ports, keywords, alert contacts and status pages you set up.
• Usage & technical data — IP address, browser/device information, log data, timestamps and actions taken in the app.

We use essential storage to run the Service and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You control this through the cookie banner. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

5. Who we share data with (processors)

We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under contract, including:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscriptions.
• SMTP2GO — transactional and alert email delivery.
• Telnyx — SMS alert delivery (where enabled).
• Cloudflare — content delivery, DNS and security.
• DigitalOcean — cloud hosting and infrastructure.
• Statcounter — website analytics (only with your consent).

We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep data

We keep account and monitoring data for as long as your account is active. After closure we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations (billing records are typically kept for up to 6 years).

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, encrypted storage of sensitive integration tokens, two-factor login codes and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and the regulator of any breach where required.

9. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data;
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”) in certain circumstances;
• Restrict or object to processing;
• Data portability;
• Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. analytics cookies);
• Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children and is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

The Service may link to third-party sites we do not control. This policy does not cover their practices; please review their privacy notices.

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the revised version here with a new “last updated” date.
