PingWise

Everything you need to stay online

PingWise watches your websites, servers and cron jobs around the clock — uptime, response time, SSL and domain expiry, keywords, server reachability and scheduled-job heartbeats — and alerts you the instant anything changes, on the channels your team already uses.

What PingWise monitors

Uptime monitoring

PingWise checks your websites over HTTP and HTTPS as often as every minute, validating the status code and response. A monitor only flips to DOWN after a few confirmed failures, so a momentary blip never wakes you — and it recovers on the first good check.

Server monitoring

Beyond websites, PingWise watches your infrastructure: confirm a host is reachable by ICMP ping, or that a specific TCP port is open and accepting connections — SSH, MySQL, RDP, SMTP and anything else. Websites and servers share one simple plan limit.

Cron & scheduled job monitoring

PingWise watches your background jobs with a simple heartbeat: your cron job, backup or scheduled task pings a unique URL each time it runs. If an expected ping doesn’t arrive on schedule (plus a grace period), or the job reports a failure, we alert you — catching the silent failures active monitoring can’t. Optional start/finish pings measure run time and flag jobs that run too long. Just add one line to your crontab, no agent to install.

Response time tracking

Every check records how long your site took to respond. See response-time trends and uptime percentages over 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days on a clean live chart per monitor, so you can spot a slowdown long before it becomes an outage.

SSL & domain expiry

PingWise tracks both your TLS/SSL certificates and your domain registration dates, warning you days in advance before either expires. Never get caught out by a lapsed certificate throwing browser warnings or an expired domain taking your site offline.

Keyword monitoring

A page can return 200 OK and still be broken. Keyword monitoring checks that an expected word is present — or that an unwanted word is absent — so you catch silent failures, defacements and broken deploys that uptime checks alone would miss.

Multi-channel alerts

Get notified the instant something changes by email, SMS, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, generic webhook or ClickUp. Recovery notices and SSL/domain expiry warnings are sent too, so your whole team stays in the loop on the channels they already use.

Public status pages

Publish a branded public status page so your customers can check the live status and uptime of your services themselves — and pick exactly which monitors to show. Cuts down on “is it down?” support tickets during an incident.

No false alarms

Confirmation logic means a monitor only flips to DOWN after several consecutive failures, and recovers on the first good check. The result: you’re alerted to real outages, not transient network blips at 3am.

Incident history

Every outage is logged with its cause, start time and duration, giving you a clear historical record. Review uptime over 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days to back up SLAs and spot recurring problems.

Cloudflare import

Already manage your DNS in Cloudflare? Connect a read-only API token and import every domain you own as a monitor in a couple of clicks — no copy-pasting URLs one at a time.

Built-in support

Need a hand? Raise a support ticket right from your dashboard and track every reply in a single thread — no email tag, no waiting on hold.
